This teeming pot of learning lies next to the ever-churching pit of intrigue that is the Parliament. Where Senators and Aldermen alike vy for power in a city that prizes wealth and a good show. The beautiful courtesans know how to entertain; politicians and crime lords alike cross the bawdy house doors - for both their farthings spend equally in the hands of the artisans of the city. And those artisans need every bit of copper they can get to slip into the greasy and grasping fingers within Rattletrap - where cutthroats lie in wait for the chink of coin - or the heavy boots of the Ironhurst Wardens.
