Under sparkling stars and blazing sun lies the lands of Galudon. A society whose obsession with progress is only rivalled by its dedication to decadence. Airships fly overhead, piloted by the brave and daring, while tycoons of fortune dig deep into the earth in search of treasures. Coal to stoke the fires, iron to forge instruments of clever construction, and magical Potentia to unlock the secrets of the universe. Professors at its world class university teach starry eyed young engineers and alchemists, healers and academics. This teeming pot of learning lies next to the ever churching pit of intrigue that is the Parliament. Where Senators and Aldermen alike vy for power in a city that prizes wealth and a good show. The beautiful courtesans know how to entertain; politicians and crime lords alike cross the bawdy house doors - for both their farthings spend equally in the hands of the artisans of the city. And those artisans need every bit of copper they can get to slip into the greasy and grasping fingers within Rattletrap - where cutthroats lie in wait for the chink of coin - or the heavy boots of the Ironhurst Wardens.
